Does anyone feel like ENF is on the decline?

I first got into ENF nearly 7 years ago. It was booming full of websites, forums, servers, and even had YouTube channels.

Now many of those websites, forums and channels are gone. Some ENF authors quit their passion and even deleted their treasured works. Old discussion forms were taken down. The most famous ENF website is down for good (that owner was a dick, fuck him).

Does anyone else notice a decline in ENF?

  1. The internet in general has largely moved away from independently run sites and forums, everything has been corporatized and monetized and jammed full of ads and subscription based business models. The internet used to be this cool kind of counter culture wild west sort of thing, which granted made it easier for bad actors and shady sites and content to exist, but was still overall better for the average user imho. enf-cfnm was a breath of fresh air for me (did not know that the owner was a POS), but it didn’t last very long, in part for the reasons I mentioned above. And there’s other moral quandaries: even without the AI deepfake shit, the vast majority of old amateur content (like a lot of what existed on enf-cfnm) is probably shit that the subjects of those videos didn’t want floating around on the internet in the first place. Gun to my head.. idk, I can’t stand “professional” porn, the badly acted videos with the carbon copy big-titted blonde bimbos asking “Is there any other way I can pay you for this?”, so I’ve basically always consumed amateur stuff, and the ENF category has always been a favorite for me. But to answer your question, yea, ENF shit like everything else that’s not some centralized corpo site or content is definitely on the decline, and it makes me sad that this is the trajectory that we and the internet have taken.

  2. Well being in Texas during this ‘special’ time in American history is not a great time to be an ENF fan what with the porn bans and hyper prudish crack downs and so on. There was also the aggressive backlash from advertisers a few years ago against kid unfriendly content at large on sites like YouTube which I’m sure hasn’t helped the longevity of stuff as raunchy as ENF. So that probably is a factor as well.

  3. ENF has been on the decline because people are skittish about making nudity uncomfortable for women. In like every show or form of media in the modern western world women don’t mind being naked or aren’t in a situation that is ENF. I think it comes from sexual empowerment and the fact that embarrassing women is considered bad (Thor Love and Thunder had like the best situation if it was gender bent, but because I didn’t want ENM it just took me out of the film).

I would love for ENF to make a come back, but it feels like it only happens in Eastern stories where sexual content is still believed to be quite private imo.
