I really loved the failed rescue comic. Everyone (except “Wonder Jugs”) was evil and being evil to one another. Really took away any sense of moral concern for the “victims.”
It was nice to see Evie and Violet getting a taste of their own medicine, especially Evie in a genuinely vulnerable position (and Violet enraged at the situation). It spoke to their friendship, even as villains. And the facial expressions were especially cartoonish, in a comedic fashion. Felt like I was watching a 90’s WB cartoon get freaky (sound effects included, filled in from Animaniacs, Freakzoid and Pinky and the Brain).
I was only disappointed that they didn’t get started on their initial victim before White Snake intervened… 😀
Sleepy Gimp is a master of their craft. I can read the comics over and over and notice something new each time. They have built such a rich universe to play in. The level of their craftsmanship is inspiring to me. Heck, I am not even a foot fetishist but thanks to Sleepy Gimp I think I can begin to understand why other people are.
